When It All Goes Wrong: Improving your Presentation Skills

According to a post over at Octopus, it sounds like you can solve a lot of your presentation problems in advance by just showing up really early. Its solution to not being late is to show up early. Its solution to not understanding complicated technology setups is to show up early and ask somebody how it works. But when sleeping overnight at the physical spot where you intend to present is not an option, there are other options, like having handouts ready to go if the technology fails. It also recommends skipping through slides when you lose the audience’s attention, since if nobody is listening anyway, you might as well jump straight to the good stuff.
