Top 5 Best and Worst Practices for Writing Effective Email

He says when writing emails, sparing use of bolding helps emphasize important information and highlight specific individuals who will need that info, but typing in all caps is something that should be avoided AT ALL COSTS. Keep your signature short and professional, and generally do not try to be funny, because your spectacular sense of humor will likely be lost on the unwashed masses with whom you do business. And this seems obvious, but proofread the email before you send it. The whole reason typos exist is because they are easily overlooked.
