Selling the Importance of IT Training to Employers

There is a reason why the best employees are referred to as aces, and it is because they get the best results. Leslie Hague writes a blog post about the necessity of hiring and fostering skilled workers in IT for better long-term results. Additional training and certification will go a long way, and although employers worry providing such things will cause employees to absorb that knowledge and take it to a new job, it has actually been shown that the opposite is the case. Further trained employees tend to stick around, and even marginal extra training is enough to increase likelihood of project success substantially.
