How to Overcome a Communication Breakdown at Your Student or Entry Level Job

You may be low man or woman on the totem pole, but that does not mean you need to be seen and not heard. Moira Donovan writes an article about what to do to stay relevant and in the loop as part of this new generation. Figure out what you contribute and make your employer aware of it; if you are uncertain, find a mentor and develop. Young people sometimes underappreciate their own assets while also failing to understand what employers need. You need to be able to identify what you are to your company and how far you can go with the right incentive.
