Five Steps to Becoming a Better Leader

5A mediocre leader would probably settle after three or four steps, but a great leader like you would be willing to splurge and do all five steps of Zach Jones’s blog post about improving your leadership. First, you should be passionate about what you do and keep enthusiasm high. Second, create a general plan but leave out details to provide room for originality. Third, listen and respond to your team effectively. Be sure to show your appreciation to everyone around you, lest their simmering resentment manifest in a drunken tirade at your next office party. And finally, celebrate achievements and learn from mistakes. Always be learning.
