6 Ways Effective Listening Can Make You a Better Leader

Show employees that you genuinely care about them so that they want to work harder for you. Engage yourself by asking employees to elaborate on their opinions. Be empathetic and relate to your people’s concerns and frustrations. Try not to judge people just because their style is different from yours. Be mindful of your environment, including body language and voice tone in conversations. And lastly, do what you can not to interrupt people. No one likes getting cut off.
