5 Rules for More Effective Presentations

statue pointingYou may not be Hulk Hogan, but you can still learn how to get a crowd going with practice. Michael Hyatt offers five rules for better presentations:

  1. Don’t give your presentation software center stage.
  2. Create a logical flow to your presentation.
  3. Make your presentation readable.
  4. Remember, less is more.
  5. Distribute a handout after the presentation to keep eyes on you.

As the presenter, it is up to you to tell an engaging narrative that hits on all your key concepts, using software as a tool rather than a crutch. Keep the crowd energized no matter who you are—but if you are Hulk Hogan, can I get your autograph?
