What is Success, What is failure, and how can You Improve Your Odds

5 Characteristics Found in Successful Projects

In an academic paper from Robert Frese and Dr. Vicki Sauter, the sometimes ambiguous definitions of success and failure are explored, as well as common factors in successful projects, and how different organizations can more easily achieve success. To this end, the paper lists the 5 characteristics of successful (and 5 characteristics of unsuccessful) projects, most of which center around realistic expectations and clear definitions.
