Observations in IT Best Practices: Involving your Stakeholders

freedomInvolving your stakeholders not only improves communication flow in projects, but can lead to a reduced cost through less rework and missteps. Joseph Bachana uses this article to point out just how many benefits come from stakeholder involvement, namely having stakeholders help create the requirements document (rather than having IT figure it out themselves). Early involvement is monumental in making stakeholders have a “vested interest” in the requirements and outcome of every project.
