Nontechie CIOs: translators or meddlers?

Nontech CIOs are becoming more and more prevalent in the world of IT, and that might not be such a bad thing. This article discusses the pros and cons of having a non-technical CIO, explaining that they may bring something to the table that a purebred IT CIO might not have. On the other hand, a non-tech CIO will perhaps not have the language of his new team, removing trust and quick action from the top levels of management.
