Managing Risk in Information Technology Projects: A Case Study of TradeNet

In this academic article, the reasons for project risk (and the reasons project risks sometimes don’t come to bear) are discussed. In particular, why some projects are doomed to fail through cost or time overruns, and others are successful through careful and deliberate risk management.
