Industry is (finally) catching on to BITA

Business/IT alignment (BITA) is perhaps the dream – or nightmare – of most CIOs, but isn’t even on the radar for the businesses they serve. In this post from Alignblog, the struggle to seek buy in from business is explained, along with IT’s efforts in seeking more understanding on why BITA is worth the effort. The article goes on to state that one of the main difficulties is convincing businesses that have yet to encounter the inevitable problems that come from not having IT and business aligned.
