Many IT organizations outsource to focus on core applications or to reduce cost. Adam Hartung explains why due consideration must be given to this decision: by limiting your organization’s skillset to just core applications, you may be hamstringing yourself down the road. Instead of outsourcing just to save money, consider what an outsourcer brings to the table: can they reduce costs for you overall, or are they just taking the reins on something that you don’t want to be bothered with?
