How a Proactive IT Manager Can Handle Any Crisis

IT managers are, as this blog post on IT Managers Inbox explains, forced to do more with less. This means that managers can't just react to situations as they arise (you don't have enough resources to plug holes while still moving critical projects forward): managers must be proactive in their work. There are a few steps to becoming proactive, including identification of key business areas, assessing risk objectively, developing plans and processes, preventing problems through a sound risk management routine, and developing an overall proactive organization, among other steps.
