Companies Taking Bad IT Habits into Cloud, Says Gartner

This article points out how bad habits have a way of staying prevalent in any organization, and it seems that the bad habits of IT have found their way into the relatively new cloud. Gartner identifies that as the use of shelfware and on-premises software comes with a certain set of bad practices, and those practices have easily found their way into the cloud. With the emphasis by companies such as Microsoft in using the cloud to drive business, more bad habits are sure to find their way in.
