Bad vendor meetings: IT managers share horror stories and advice

In this hilarious article from TechRepublic, contributors and visitors share their horror stories from bad vendor meetings. The winning contributor discusses how, during a meeting overpopulated with vendor representatives, the president of his company literally threw away the constantly ringing cell phone of  a vendor representative. Other horror stories include a vendor who chased a contributor's car trying to close the deal, and a vendor who tried to sell software that a company already had been using. The article then goes into what you can do the help make meetings with vendors go much more smoothly, though no advice on escaping a vendor chasing after your car!
