A look into Toyota’s learning organization

There are 14 identified management principles that make Toyota one of the greatest manufacturers in the wold. As Darren Dolcemascolo points out, one of these 14 principles is to become a learning organization. To become a learning organization in the same way that Toyota attempts to, you have to utilize hansei (self reflection), hoshin kanri (policy deployement), and dig in for years of development before you begin to see the kind of successes that Toyota has accomplished.
