5 Keys to Building a Learning Organization

You want to build a learning organization? That's great – but how do you start? This Forbes article by Josh Bersin lists 5 keys to building the successful learning organization:

  • Promote and reward expertise
  • Unleash the power of experts
  • Demonstrate the value of formal training
  • Allow people to make mistakes

The emphasis, it seems, is recognizing and rewarding the natural curiosity that people have already. A learning organization can give you a remarkably competitive advantage over more traditional organizations, along with the ability to become instantly agile with new developments or innovations.
