A Happy Staff is a Productive Staff: How to Motivate Employees

How happy is your IT staff? Past just wanting to know, happy employees often bring more productivity to the workplace, and that should make any CIO interested in the contentment of their workforce. This article found on Intuit looks at a few ways that executives can promote happiness among employees, increasing productivity and value for the company. For instance, having “free” days to interact with each other, allowing employees to work from home occasionally, and being a cheerleader for your staff are all great ways of making them feel appreciated and happy ““ which makes them much more productive and willing to chip in that extra effort.
